I watched Jay & Silent Bob: Reboot the other day. By way of review, well … it’s an objectively bad movie that I subjectively loved. Make of that what you will.

Finally saw Miller’s Crossing last night. What a movie! I also learned it was based on a Dashiell Hammett book – the same that inspired Kurosawa‘s Yojimbo, which incidentally means that Last Man Standing is, in fact, the second prohibition-era movie based on the same material.
Nuts. Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne, has died as a result of coronavirus complications. Fountains of Wayne was the soundtrack to my life for close to a decade. He also made a lot of wonderful music outside the band, too, including the title track for That Thing You Do!, but the wry, everyday observations Fountains of Wayne excelled at often hit the sweet spot for the aimless, floundering me.
